We enjoyed a fun day in Springfield, Mo during Spring Break at Mimi and Pops' house. We started off by having lunch with my great aunt and her family. Kingston had some trouble figuring out which "family" we were meeting for lunch. Then we headed off to Bass Pro, where Kingston was fascinated by the turtle pond. The last stop was at the Mall. Kingston got lucky because there was a playground next to the mall. Pops took the boys to play while Mimi and I shopped for Easter outfits at Gymboree!
Pops playing the Remote Games, Kingston telling Pops how to play!
Mommy and Kingston boxing, Camden and Pops watching on.
More boxing. Camden looks like he wants to play too!
We were glad that Mimi and Pops were able to stay and play Tuesday night. Kingston was very excited for them to make a "mii" on the Wii! Mimi made homemade noodles, peanut butter fudge, and snickerdoodles! The girls, of course, won at cards! Sorry boys!
Kingston's three year old class had Grandparent's Day at school on Tuesday. The rumor is that Kingston was a ham! I am so glad we didn't have a repeat of the 2 year old program a year ago!
We've been "teaching" Camden to roll over with the song Ten in the Bed. He finally did roll on his own. He likes to roll when we sing Roll over, Roll over!
Kingston has been talking about making a birthday cake for weeks now. He wanted to make a cake like the cake in Bunny Cakes. We compromised and made strawberry cupcakes with sprinkles and strawberries on top. Thanks Kingston for a yummy birthday treat!
