Kingston's Creations

These are heart shaped-strawberry flavored-chocolate covered marshmellows! He used his recipe money to buy the marshmellows. He's very proud of them.

A Snowy Day

Surprise!

I went out to get a hair cut and came home to a SURPRISE party. Kingston has been talking about parties for weeks. Well, my sweet mother-in-law decided this would be the perfect time for a party since my birthday is a few days away. She had it all planned, complete with party hats, cake, ice cream and streamers. Kingston even drew some pictures and hung them in the playroom. Thanks, Gimmama!

A Snow Day for this....

The boys woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Kingston's school was canceled. So we made raisin bread and enjoyed the day together. Camden wasn't quite sure what to do with the snow. He ran as far from me as he could and then "experimented" a little. He thought he was pulling one over on me because when he was touching the snow.

Christmas Break

Kingston and I headed downtown to visit a well known Memphis attraction...the Peabody Ducks! We met up with our friends to watch the ducks and then went to Hueys for lunch. Kingston was having a hard time deciding what to have for lunch and so I ordered him a grilled cheese. When his meal came he informed me that he had asked for cheese sticks. Well, Kingston was sad but he went ahead and ate the sandwich. Later he when the waiter came by, he called him over to say that his (Kingston's)mommy had ordered him the wrong thing. I was totally embarrassed and told the waiter that it was ok. Well, the waiter took pity on Kingston and got him a whole order of cheese sticks and fries!!! He is definitely his daddy's child.

Christmas in Missouri

We braved the cold and headed to Silver Dollar City on Saturday. The rides were closed, but the Frosty show was very cute. Overall good behavior from the kids and we made it to the tree lighting! The look on Ella and Kingston's faces were worth staying in the cold to see. They were truly fascinated by all of the lights!

Nothing like a warm bubble bath to make you feel better!

Camden decided to copy cousin Gabe and climb in the cabinet. We were all afraid he wouldn't make it back out! Luckily he squeezed himself out just fine.

Ella and Kingston enjoyed making reindeer cookies! Kingston made his own version, which included 5 cookies put together. He ate them all, right before bed. Needless to say he had a hard time going to sleep.

Christmas jammie time!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

Zoo Lights. Notice Camden's face...he's looking for something to get in to!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We headed to Michgan for the week. Camden had his first flight. Kingston has decided that he isn't a fan of flying. Chris looked at Fantasy Football all week. I helped make 5 casseroles. Overall, we had a great week!
