Sunday Breakfast

My dad made us breakfast Sunday morning before church. It was such a treat! We had biscuits and gravy and bacon!!!! Kingston even got in on the action and helped Pops cut out the biscuits.

Silver Dollar City-World's Fest

We had a great weekend with Mimi and Pops in Branson, MO! We went to Silver Dollar City and Kingston had a blast riding rides. He even rode his first big boy roller coaster. Unfortunately, the rough ride was too much for him and he busted out some tears at the end! Oh, well. It was worth a try.

We also went to eat at Dixie Stampede. It is a dinner theater with real horses in the show. The North competes against the South. We sat on the north's side, but we lost. At least the food was great and Kingston really got into the music they played!

Thanks for a fun time Mimi and Pops!

Heartbeat

Today was the day to hear the baby's heartbeat! We are very excited that the nurse only found 1 heartbeat!!!! The heart rate was 154. According to the latest website we should be expecting a girl. But I guess we really won't know until the end of June! I was very excited to find out that I had not gained any weight. However by the current pant size that I'm in you would think that I had gained at least 5 pounds, maybe more!

Spring is in the Air

We had so much fun with our friends at the zoo today! The flowers were so pretty. But trying to get 3 three year olds to sit AND smile is almost impossible! Kingston just wanted to pick them! We had to resort to only picking the flowers that were really weeds (but don't tell him that). Of course by the end of the day Kingston had his stash of sticks to take home. I think we ended up with three this visit. Oh, the little things that make little boys happy!

Questions

It is a well know fact that Kingston likes to give out "questions". We have no idea where it came from or even what his "questions" are. He will also receive "questions" if he is handed one. "Questions" are given out randomly. He can be playing in full speed and all of a sudden he'll come running to you, hand out with a "question". I've found that most "questions" are given out when someone is leaving. Today he brought me a "question" because I had his pirate hat on and he informed me that Daddy could have a "question" too when he came home and became a pirate! So I guess today the reasoning for giving out "questions" has to do with pirates!!!

Children's Museum

There isn't a better way to spend a rainy morning with an almost three year old, than at the Children's Museum. We like to get there when it opens so Kingston can have free reign of the museum for a little while! Kingston had a big accomplishment today...he made it to the top of the climbing maze! Just a few months ago he couldn't make it past the first tier! I can't believe how much he has grown.

Kingston loves to shop at the kid-size Kroger. Look at him making healthy choices!

Kingston tried his hand at driving the police car. At least he wasn't fascinated with the back of the car like he was the first time we went!

Kingston and Ammie enjoyed "making" Ainsley and I dinner in the toddler play center!

Puppy Love

Kingston loves his blue puppy. This is a good thing since we will not be having any doggie pets! He decided Tuesday morning that he needed his picture taken with his puppy and "puppy's mommy". I couldn't believe he ASKED to have his picture taken AND he said cheese!
