Kingston's Website


Here's Kingston's "website" that he created. You can see that his cousins and his brother (their names) made it on his site. The reindeer magnets are the "dot com" part!!! I guess he's writing his own website code.

Baby Blessing

Today was Camden's introduction to the church (along with 14+ more babies!) Kingston had the honor of saying a special scripture for Camden. He did an excellent job and Camden managed to hold it together too! Special thanks to my good friend Ainsley for taking pictures and doing the video!

Big Bike



Kingston is learning to master the big boy bike he got for Christmas. He is growing up SO fast! He is also cheering for the Memphis Tigers tonight as you can see! We had to make a special trip to Target to find him a shirt!

I do not have a girl....

Twice today someone asked me if Camden was a girl! Just because a baby has hair and curls doesn't make him a girl!! It's not like I had him in pink or purple.

First Foods









Camden throughly enjoyed his first taste of food. The rice cereal was a big hit. A few times he had to follow a bite with his fingers! Kingston was also entertained and the entertainer.

Outdoor fun




We had such nice weather over Spring Break! We were able to play outside and even have a picnic on the porch! Camden seems to love the outdoors as much as Kingston does.

Mimi and Pops and Annie the Mermaid By Kingston Barber

Once upon a time Mimi and Pops lived happily ever after in a house in the center with a mermaid. She was going to lose her tail.

Once upon a time there was a prince that loved the mermaid.

And the kingdom was zapped disappeared by the evil witch.

The mermaid was counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 to get off the board that turned the tail into a walking person.

The witch swirled her and turned her into a beautiful princess instead of a mermaid.

The spoingy knocked down the house and everybody was sad. The sing, sang, sung I'm going to wash the wind.

So the mermaid counted 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 28 to get off the board and then she got off and everybody was safe.

Raisin Bread

Kingston started out helping Mimi make bread, but Camden had to help finish it! (Kingston was too busy playing outside.)


Springfield, Missouri







We enjoyed a fun day in Springfield, Mo during Spring Break at Mimi and Pops' house. We started off by having lunch with my great aunt and her family. Kingston had some trouble figuring out which "family" we were meeting for lunch. Then we headed off to Bass Pro, where Kingston was fascinated by the turtle pond. The last stop was at the Mall. Kingston got lucky because there was a playground next to the mall. Pops took the boys to play while Mimi and I shopped for Easter outfits at Gymboree!

We were glad that Mimi and Pops were able to stay and play Tuesday night. Kingston was very excited for them to make a "mii" on the Wii! Mimi made homemade noodles, peanut butter fudge, and snickerdoodles! The girls, of course, won at cards! Sorry boys!

Kingston's three year old class had Grandparent's Day at school on Tuesday. The rumor is that Kingston was a ham! I am so glad we didn't have a repeat of the 2 year old program a year ago!
