Christmas in Missouri

We braved the cold and headed to Silver Dollar City on Saturday. The rides were closed, but the Frosty show was very cute. Overall good behavior from the kids and we made it to the tree lighting! The look on Ella and Kingston's faces were worth staying in the cold to see. They were truly fascinated by all of the lights!

Nothing like a warm bubble bath to make you feel better!

Camden decided to copy cousin Gabe and climb in the cabinet. We were all afraid he wouldn't make it back out! Luckily he squeezed himself out just fine.

Ella and Kingston enjoyed making reindeer cookies! Kingston made his own version, which included 5 cookies put together. He ate them all, right before bed. Needless to say he had a hard time going to sleep.

Christmas jammie time!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

Zoo Lights. Notice Camden's face...he's looking for something to get in to!

Santa is not a favorite this year.

Daddy plays Santa.

Neither boy is happy about it. They are both a little scared!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We headed to Michgan for the week. Camden had his first flight. Kingston has decided that he isn't a fan of flying. Chris looked at Fantasy Football all week. I helped make 5 casseroles. Overall, we had a great week!

Christmas Card Rejects!

Many of the pictures are picture spots that Kingston thought would look nice!

Scouting for Picture Spots

Master Chef

Kingston has been creating recipes for a long time. I'm trying to help him use "real" ingredients to make real creations. He decided that he really wanted to make some jello. I informed him that he was going to have to purchase his own ingredients from now on. Chris and I set up some jobs that he can do to earn dimes. He finally earned enough dimes to purchase 2 boxes of jello. He didn't have enough money for the other ingredients so he hinted to Mimi and Pops that he REALLY would like to have some whipping cream and cherries for his recipe. They kindly brought him the needed ingredients when they were here last week. We finally got around to making his recipe. He made grape jello jiggler stars and added whipping cream and a cherry to the middle. He was SO proud of his accomplishments. He's been asking what other jobs he can do for dimes!

Camden's Birthday

Camden knew exactly what to do with his cake at the party! He had some practice the day I made the cake. While I was outside he crawled on the kitchen table and started exploring with his cake! The picture of the cake is pre-destruction.

Cake Making "Party"

We had a big morning decorating cupcakes and cake. The big kids enjoyed decorating their own cupcake. Cal enjoyed eating his. Poor Camden will have to wait until tomorrow to get his hands on one!
