The Neighbor's Pond

Kingston decided that he would like to play down at the neighbor's pond tonight. You might be wondering where a pond could be in Memphis,TN. Well the pond is the water puddle out in the back alley!!! Kingston had a great time picking up "sand" and running and splashing through the puddles.

Chuck E Cheese

We had a very fun morning with Ammie today at Chuck E Cheese! Kingston and Ammie both love the sketch machine. Kingston discovered the joy of riding the roller coaster simulator. He rode 3 times!!

Nesting

If you have been wondering what the Barber's are up to....wonder no more! In the spirit of nesting, Mimi and Pops came to help redo Kingston's bathroom and Camden's room. Poor Pops we really put him to work! When you buy a condo that's 30 yrs old, sometimes the little things take a while to fix!!!! We even got Chris in on the action and of course Kingston wanted to help. He would come and tell us that he was downstairs and if we needed his help he would come! He would check in every 15-20 min, just in case. Mimi had the privilege of keeping Kingston busy downstairs! The rooms look great and Chris is glad that we only "fix and redo" every couple of years!




One morning Kingston decided he needed to read to Mimi. So he dug out the books he thought he could read and proceeded on! I think he ended up reading his Bible Story book the most, because he KNOWS the stories in that book the best!

Kingston went to West Plains for a visit with Mimi and Pops. He had a ball! I don't think he was ready to come home! Mimi and Kingston packed lots of fun things into 2 days. They fed the turtle, fished, rode in the paddle boat (which Kingston dumped Mimi into the lake!), made biscuits, made two pie crusts, made chocolate chip cookies, watered the marigolds (because Kingston told Mimi they were dying), and read lots of stories!

Daddy got to visit the "Y-Slide" pool with us today! Kingston was so excited to show Daddy how he could jump in the water all by himself and then "swim" back to the wall. Daddy finished off our visit with a snow cone for him and an ice cream for Kingston!!!
