The Butterflies are Back!

Kingston was very glad that the butterflies are back at the zoo! He's been waiting all winter for them to return.


Here he is holding his "must-have" stick and cheese'n for mommy.


I got him to sit still long enough for a picture, but only with the promise of a gummy lifesaver!

He kept asking why the butterflies wouldn't land on his finger. Could it be that he isn't still long enough for a butterfly to land????

3 Year Check Up

Kingston had his 3 year check up with Dr. Bubba today. Fortunately we did not have to have any shots today. Kingston weighed 34 lbs and was 39 in tall. His favorite part of the visit was when Dr. Bubba pulled a blue sucker out of his ear! He was excited to find out that blue suckers make blue tongues! He couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror at the Dr. office and in the car. He's already planning what kind of sucker he wants on the next visit-chocolate (so his tongue and tummy can be brown!)

Chuck E Cheese

Party time! We had lots of fun celebrating Kingston's birthday at Chuck E Cheese. He was excited about the games, friends, cousins, food, and cake. However, he WAS NOT excited about Chuck E Cheese coming out to see him!!!!

Larry Boy

Larry Boy has arrived!

School Snack

Kingston really enjoyed being the birthday boy at school today. I think he enjoyed being the (line) leader even more than eating his cupcakes. He asked his teachers if they were really going to have nap time today (I guess he thought birthday boys were exempt) and where the birthday table was at lunch.

Larry Cupcakes

Kingston asked for Larry cupcakes (from Veggie Tales) for his birthday snack at school. They turned out pretty good. I'm getting nervous about making the Larry Boy cake for his birthday. It should be pretty interesting.

Daddy Goes to the Zoo

Well, we finally got Chris to the zoo! He loved it almost as much as Kingston. Yeah! It was really cool to go with someone who had never been before, because we actually got to stop and see things! (Kingston just likes to run from exhibit to exhibit!) We had a great day and I'm seeing Daddy and Kingston trips to the zoo in MY future!!!!
